Welcome to East Tennessee Border Collie Rescue, a 501(c)3 not for profit Corporation, and  one of the longest running Border collie rescue groups in the US.  Starting in the mid 1990s with a small group of volunteers, our group has rehabilitated and rehomed over 1,000 border collies and mixes in the intervening years, and we have continued to grow and expand our combined experience to do the best we possibly can for the many dogs in need in East Tennessee and the surrounding areas. 

Because of the generosity of friends, volunteers, supporters and strangers, we have been able to save and greatly improve the quality of life of not only puppies and young, traumatized dogs, but also many senior dogs who for one reason or another, end up in shelters or whose owners can no longer keep them and appeal to us for help.     

As a volunteer organization, our success depends exclusively on the help of our many loyal supporters and we sincerely thank each one of you for your part in the success of our rescue efforts over the years.   Because of you, many many lives have been saved.
